Curtains Up is taught by a Creative Team made up of three Academy teachers who work with members towards creating, choreographing, and directing annual productions, which are performed in professional theatres in North London.
Our Creative Team also works to provide performance opportunities for our Curtains Up group in the local community at events and festivals, as well as organise regular theatre trips and other social opportunities.
Our Curtains Up class is perfect for any adults who cannot commit to the full day class at Showdown.
Our Showdown & Curtains up classes work on different material, so Curtains Up is also a perfect additional class to any adults who would like to attend both our Showdown & Curtains Up classes.
In Curtains Up we also include a ‘tea break’, in which our members enjoy a hot drink and are encouraged to socialise with our members.
Our Curtains Up class runs at The Bull Theatre, High Barnet at 17:00-19:00 each Monday evening during term time.
